Kaz Takagi is the hotshot ExoFighter Space E-Frame pilot assigned to Flight One: Able Squad. He may be the rookie member of the unit, but he's also a top gun, who more than pulls his weight in battle. He is young and hyper. Though occasionally insubordinate, he's always ready to learn from the more experienced members of the squad, like Wolf Bronski, who once saved Takagi's life in a sub-space battle over the Jupiter moons. Takagi also shares a special esprit de corps with Maggie Weston. His customized ExoFighter Space E-Frame is equipped with a holographic system that is capable of creating a mirror image of his Space E-Frame, leaving the Neos confused and open for attack. When not engaged in deep space battle with the Neos, Takagi provides sub-space aerial support to Able Squad's ground units.
